Why Choose Derek Blanchard
I started my career in real estate back in 1999 when I first began buying and selling real estate for investment purposes. Then in 2005, I became a licensed general contractor and started my construction company.
Since that time, I have built custom and spec homes ranging in value from starter homes to homes in the million dollar price range. I am well versed in ground up residential construction and have an eye for architecture, design, and quality workmanship; all of which have helped me excel as a home builder.
For years I have felt that becoming a residential real estate agent would be a natural fit for me due to my extensive construction background and industry resources. I have a passion for looking at raw property, seeing its potential, and how it can be put to its best use.
If you’re looking for someone that is honest, ethical, and extremely hardworking to represent you in an upcoming real estate transaction then you will really enjoy working with me. I have the Experience, Knowledge and Integrity to guide you through one of life’s major decisions.
My goal is to establish a professional business and personal relationship during each transaction. I look forward to satisfying your Real Estate needs, and becoming your “Realtor for Life”!

What my clients say
“Derek helped us find the amazing home we now own today. My husband and I both appreciated his vast knowledge and expertise. He was also extremely patient with us, as we were total newbies to this process. He helped guide us the home buying process, was very responsive and answered all our questions.”
- Littleditalo
"Derrick knew the area incredibly well. We popped in unplanned, and within 36 hours, he figured out what we were looking for and showed it to us. We didn’t even know what we wanted. He was incredibly accommodating and gave more time than was fair of us to ask."
- Marion Maybank
“Derek did a great job representing us and surpassed typical agent responsibilities. He meet with the sellers and their agent to negotiate terms and conditions on the two properties we were buying and ensure repairs were completed per the inspection report in our absence. Derek was very professional.”
- Mark & Jamie Getzfrid
